Mistra SafeChem and other projects were presented in a webinar about the industrial adoption of the SSbD (Safe and Sustainable by Design) tools, arranged by the organisation Change Chemistry. Now you can see a recording of the webinar.

Change Chemistry, formerly the Green Chemistry and Commerce Council (GC3), is a collaboration of more than 100 members that aim to make safer and sustainable chemistries widely available in the marketplace.

August 31, 2023, Change Chemistry together with SusChem Sweden and IRISS, arranged the webinar Implementation of the Safe & Sustainable by Design Framework – Practical Tools for Industrial Adoption.

The SSbD framework serves as a guide for safer and more sustainable products but how the framework can be implemented and operationalized is still being determined. At this webinar, several scientists from IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute presented an industrial perspective on the implementation of the SSbD framework.

Hanna Homquist presented the part about Mistra SafeChem, which starts 33 minutes into the recording.
